Ibn Khaldun is the most important figure in the field of History, mainly in sociology and politic as well. He is one of those shining stars and has contributes so much to Islam. Ibn Khaldun stated, it is not possible to appoint two men to the position in leadership at the same time. Hence, there are great distances and the leader is unable to control the farther region, it is permissible to set up another imam or leader there to take care of public interest.
By the explains above known that leadership takes the important role in controlling the aim and idea of every side in the political fields. Therefore, the writer would like to raise Ibn Khaldun’s thought towards and leadership in Islamic political System as many people said that Ibn Khaldun was the one of great thinkers in the Islamic world. Moreover those Ibn Khaldun’s thoughts are similar in thought with many westerns scholarships, such as Machiavelli, Vico, Montesquieu, Adam Smith, Auguste Comte, Durkheim, Gumplowics, and moreover Karl Marx
